HOW TO INVEST IN ETERNITY

I read that Anthony Robbins, a well-known secular,
high-powered motivational speaker, in his book, "Unlimited
Power," gave the following advice:

"Take ten percent of all that you earn up front and give it
away. That's right. Why? One reason is that you should put
back what you take out. Another is that it creates value for
you and for others. More important, it says to the world
and to others that there is more than enough. . . .

"When do you start to give ten percent away? When you are
rich and famous? No. You should do it when you are just
starting out. Because what you give away becomes your seed
corn. You have got to invest it, not eat it, and the best
way to invest it is to give it away so that it produces
value for others."

Not too difficult for the committed Christian to know where
he got the idea from! You're right. It's in the Bible, the
Word of God. When you do give, invest wisely so you will
reap eternal dividends.

It's amazing how many great principles for effective living
are found in the Bible. It's a great pity that it isn't read
and applied much more. In it's pages are the power
principles to change a person's life, a family's life, a
country's life, and the world's life.
